Your account

Keep your email account secure because it receives sign-in links. Your chosen username, not your email address, appears with contributions. One account lets you review businesses, add a missing business or request ownership of your own. Admin accounts are for administration rather than ordinary participation.

What Checkamfirst provides

Checkamfirst hosts customer experiences and business information. We do not sell, deliver or guarantee products or services, and we are not a party to your transaction. Reviews reflect their authors' experiences. Evidence attached to a review does not guarantee its authenticity or a business's quality. Use your own judgement before buying.

Your contributions

You retain ownership of your content. By submitting it, you give Checkamfirst a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display it through the service, including review pages and sharing links. This does not grant blanket permission to reuse private receipts or personal details in advertising.

You are responsible for your contributions and must have the right to share them. Do not post unlawful, false, defamatory or privacy-invasive material, fabricate experiences, manipulate ratings, harass people or interfere with the service. Follow the Review Policy.

Publication and business ownership

Reviews publish immediately. We may investigate reports, hide contributions that break our rules or legal requirements, and restore content removed by mistake. Claim approval gives access to respond as a business, not control over customer reviews. Business ownership or payment cannot buy removal of criticism.

Stopping use and requesting removal

You can stop using Checkamfirst and withdraw published reviews. Self-service account deletion and review editing are not currently offered. You may still request correction or erasure of personal data under applicable law through the contact route in the Privacy Policy. Withdrawal does not remove every uploaded file, cached copy or third-party share.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available. We do not guarantee that business information or user contributions are accurate, or that access will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Checkamfirst is not responsible for losses from your transactions with businesses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms as the service develops. Changes will be reflected in the date shown on this page. Contact the Checkamfirst team if you have questions about these terms or a concern about content on the platform.
